Climate Wise : Conservation International : Wind Power

In 2006, we stepped up efforts to conserve natural resources and lessen our impact on the environment by signing on as a business partner to the City of Fort Collins‚ Climate Wise Program.  As a Climate Wise partner, we have committed to draft, implement, monitor and evaluate an action plan to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, and promote energy efficiency, pollution prevention, and solid waste and travel reduction at our facility and among our employees.
 
 
In April 2007, we were publicly recognized by the city as a Silver Level partner for our efforts to reduce, reuse, recycle.  Recent accomplishments include converting our facility to 100 percent wind power and recycling/reusing up to 75 percent of our "trash" by recycling or reusing everything from pallets to case boxes and vanilla bottles to spice packaging.
