Crème Brûlée

Preparation Time: 20 min / Baking Time: 30-45 min / Cooling Time: 3-4 hours / Servings: 6

Ingredients:
32 oz heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 Rodelle Vanilla Beans split
8 egg yolks

  • Heat the cream to a simmer with the Rodelle Vanilla Beans.
  • Whisk egg yolks and sugar until light.
  • Slowly add cream to egg yolks and pour into 6 shallow or rimmed crème brûlée bowls.
  • Bake in water bath at 300 degrees until firm (approximately 35-40 minutes).
  • Refrigerate for several hours.
  • To serve, sprinkle one tablespoon of sugar evenly on top and place under broiler until brown.
Serve immediately
