
Rodelle Vanilla Sauce for Pie or Desserts
This delicious sauce is perfect for holiday pies and desserts.
Preparation Time: 15 min /Chill Time: 1-2 hours / Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
1 egg
¼ cup butter, melted
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
½ tsp Rodelle Vanilla Extract
¾ cup heavy cream
- Beat egg with sugar and salt until thick and fluffy.
- Beat in the butter a small amount at a time until it is all blended.
- Stir in the Rodelle Vanilla.
- Beat the heavy cream separately until stiff.
- Fold the cream into the egg-sugar mixture until all streaks disappear.
Chill for 1-2 hours before serving over pie or dessert. |
