Climate Wise : Conservation International : Wind Power

Last year, we flipped the switch and converted our facility to 100 percent wind power through Xcel Energy's Windsource Program®.  The switch will cost us a 10 - 15 percent increase on our monthly utility bill. However, after just two months of being powered by nature, we reduced our greenhouse gas emission by eight tons; a result that we feel is well worth the investment.
